Twist and Turns

Life's journey certainly has it's twist and turns as I have experienced in the past many months. The Jacob's Heart calendar was put on hold as my family needs had grown. My brothers recent diagnosis of lung cancer and his rapid decline to death encompassed my everyday. With that said the sun comes up every morning and the presence of so many wonderful friends, co workers and clients have brightened each and every one of them. I could not be more grateful for all the incredible acts of kindness that others have shared with me and my family. For that I could not feel luckier. I thank you all for your patience and your compassion.
Stay tuned... Things are looking up. I will look forward to seeing each and everyone of you there!

Little faces

Oh how time flys. My new website is up so do not wait another minute... check it out!!!
www.gayleslastingimpressions.com  What's new with you?
With me? Well the Jacob's Heart photo shoot was wonderful. We set up the studio in their living room and thanks to Nicole I was able to photograph 14 beautiful children and their families. While we were having fun in the back room the kids were all creating wonderful master pieces themselves in the front room... thanks to the very talented and caring art director...  I can't say enough about the special team that make up Jacob's Heart.  And the parents.... oh wow... speechless. Your probably wondering why all the pics???? Well.... because we are designing
a calendar to celebrate all the lovely little angels that grace our world.
This years calendar will be going on sale sometime in October so stay tuned!!!  It will make a wonderful holiday gift and will help keep Jacob's "Art from the Heart" class going along with all the other wonderful playful events that they (Jacob's Angels that is) make happen.   All of your thoughtful donations will make a hugh difference in the lives of these little ones. I thank you all in advance for your caring hearts.

Gotta run... literally... just getting back into it and preparing for a 10K soon. Come on, let's go. See you all soon.....

Life is good

Well, I have finally unloaded my last moving box. As some of you know I have been crazy busy with packing and settling into our new home. We LOVE it. The sunlight is gorgeous , the warm colored walls enhance all of our art photos beautifully, the birds sing louder then ever and the flowers are blooming right and left. Not to mention the deliciously warm hot tub in the back.
Our kitty's, Max and Olivia, have been wagging their tails in delight.

So now that the move is complete it's time to focus on creating some wonderful art work. I am looking for models who are interested in posing nude/or semi-nude ( must be 18 )  for my up and coming photo exhibit.
I have also put together a few new portrait packages that will be released very very soon... so stay tuned.
